The Good Life 24th March 2012

Yesterday we (that is hubby and I) celebrated 33 years of marriage

We just decided to spend the day doing some of our favourite things

Hopped in the car and took a short drive down to nearby Avoca Beach

The weather was perfect, just like on the day we were married in 1979

So it was beautiful just to walk along the sand for a while

Then we had a lovely lunch at this beachside cafe 

Then after a long leasurely lunch 

we strolled along to

the Avoca Beach Picture Theatre

Here we saw a charming movie

The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel

Very pleasant and humorous movie

 

Avoca Beach Theatre is a beautiful heritage theatre, a must see theatre with old world atmosphere, velvet seats, beautiful vintage candelabras and free tea and coffee.  Just a short walk from Avoca Beach.

 

At days end we could be so grateful for a perfect day

and, 

for us at the moment

life is good
